A project to utilise pre-existing disc mounts on the back of a Horsch CO4 to mount an angle-adjustable bar holding Amazone spring-loaded covering tines. The project aimed to level the seedbed in front of the rear press wheels. For this project, the client provided a wooden template that was then scanned and imported into CAD (computer-aided design) software, where the desired shape was traced. The design could have been altered or stress-tested, but the client only wanted a DXF (drawing exchange format) file. The DXF file allowed the client to order accurately sized parts from a vendor using a CNC (computer numerical control) plasma cutter.Â
